ACOG and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality have forecast elevated ozone levels for Central Oklahoma today, resulting in a Healthy Air Risk level.
Air quality conditions may affect sensitive groups, so residents are encouraged to be mindful of outdoor activity and take a few simple steps to help reduce emissions:
• Telework when possible
• Limit or postpone the use of two-cycle engines
• Avoid unnecessary vehicle idling — including drive-throughs
• Combine or postpone errands when you can
