The Jones Public Works Authority has reached an agreement with NextBillPay to begin passing payment processing fees on to customers.
These fees had previously been paid by the Authority on behalf of customers under our original NextBillPay contract. On June 12, 2025, the JPWA Board of Trustees approved returning those processing costs to the customer, and in August 2026 we were finally able to implement that change at the following rates:
• eCheck: $1.00 for payments from $0.01–$5,000.00
• Credit/Debit Card: $2.50 for payments from $0.01–$300.00
• Credit/Debit Card: 2.75% for payments from $300.01–$5,000.00
Customers who would like to avoid convenience fees may still pay by mailed check or enroll in online autopay.
