Project: Jones Town Hall & Police Department Renovation
The Town of Jones City is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and licensed construction firms for the renovation and expansion and re-configuration of the Jones Police Department & Town Hall.
Project Description: The Town of Jones is proposing a comprehensive renovation of its existing Town Hall and Police Department facilities to create a more functional, cohesive, and service-oriented municipal complex.
The current layout of the building reflects incremental changes over time rather than a unified design. As a result, there is a lack of clear distinction between public-facing administrative spaces, law enforcement operations, and court functions. This can create confusion for residents, inefficiencies for staff, and challenges in maintaining appropriate security and workflow standards—particularly within the Police Department.
This project aims to modernize and reconfigure the existing structure to better align with best practices in municipal design. Key objectives include:
Improved Functional Layout: Redesigning interior spaces to clearly delineate administrative offices, police operations, and court functions, ensuring each department can operate efficiently and securely.
Enhanced Public Accessibility: Creating a more intuitive and welcoming environment for residents by improving wayfinding, signage, and the overall flow of public access areas.
Police Department Optimization: Modifying spaces to better support law enforcement needs, including secure access points, evidence handling areas, and appropriate separation from public and administrative functions.
Court Integration: Incorporating the courtroom into the overall Town Hall design in a way that supports accessibility while maintaining necessary security and procedural integrity.
Cohesive Aesthetic and Identity: Updating the facility’s design to reflect a unified municipal identity, both internally and externally, reinforcing professionalism and community pride.
The Town has developed preliminary design concepts to guide this effort; however, we remain open to alternative layouts and innovative solutions that achieve these goals while maximizing long-term usability and cost-effectiveness. Please contact us for more information or copies of these plans.
This renovation represents an investment not only in infrastructure, but in the Town’s ability to deliver efficient, secure, and high-quality services to its residents. By creating a well-organized and thoughtfully designed municipal space, the Town of Jones is positioning itself for continued growth and improved community engagement.
Work includes, but is not limited to:
- Selective demolition of existing interior components
- Construction of new interior walls
- 480 SF exterior building expansion, including office and restroom space
- Installation of new exterior metal wall and roof panels
- Structural concrete work
- Interior finishes including paint and flooring
- Hollow metal frames and doors, wood doors
- Plumbing, electrical, lighting, and HVAC improvements

Bids must be received no later than 4:30PM CST on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately following the deadline
Late bids will not be accepted.
Insurance Requirements:
Contractor must provide proof of the following minimum insurance coverage:
- $1,000,000 per occurrence
- $2,000,000 aggregate
- $1,000,000 workers’ compensation coverage
Bonding Requirements:
Performance and payment bonds may be required in accordance with applicable Oklahoma statutes.
The Town of Jones City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, and accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town.
