Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the incredible courage shown by first responders, service members, public servants, and everyday citizens in the hours and days that followed.
Twenty-five years later, the images and stories from that day still remind us of the cost of tragedy, the strength of sacrifice, and the importance of standing together as a community and as a nation.
We remember those who never made it home. We honor those who ran toward danger to help others. And we remain grateful for the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities every day.
May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the unity that followed.
