Town of Jones Appoints Dana Holland to Board of Trustees
Jones, OK — The Town of Jones is pleased to announce the appointment of Dana Holland to the Board of Trustees, Seat No. 1. Holland was selected to fill the unexpired term previously held by Dan Wells. Her appointment extends through April 2027, at which time the seat will be placed on the ballot for re-election.
Holland is a retired professional from the Title Insurance and Mortgage industry. She and her husband, Jeff, have been residents of Jones for 24 years and have been active supporters of the community. Known for her love of the outdoors, Holland enjoys working in her yard and is an avid animal enthusiast, joking that she talks to her pets as if they might respond.
“I am honored to step into this role and serve the Town of Jones,” Holland said. “I look forward to contributing to the continued progress of our community.”

Jones City is a town in Oklahoma County, in the Oklahoma City metro area. Covering 13.662 square miles, present Jones is surrounded on three sides by Oklahoma City and by the town of Harrah to the east-southeast and the town of Choctaw to the south-southeast. Jones incorporated on January 4, 1909. In 1910 the U.S. Census counted 163 inhabitants. The town has grown steadily during the second half of the twentieth century from 794 residents in 1960 to 3,914 in 2020.
