Jones, Oklahoma — The Town of Jones City has officially issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified attorneys or law firms to provide Interim Town Attorney services through June 30, 2026.
The Interim Town Attorney will be responsible for advising the Board of Trustees, Mayor, Town Administrator, Town Clerk, and Town departments on municipal legal matters, ensuring compliance with Oklahoma law, and attending at least two Board meetings per month. The position requires availability for a minimum of eight working hours per week.
The proposal deadline is January 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CST.

Upon completion of the interim term, the Board of Trustees may consider a permanent appointment in accordance with Oklahoma law, subject to annual recertification.
